it s true. i don't think drinking colleen will help - it would be broken down in the stomach. but taking the compounds that contribute to making collagen might help.

ReplyDeleteOkay collagen does break down significantly with ageing, your skin becomes saggy and wrinkles form.
Collagen supplements are basically useless, otherwise people suffering from deep acne scars would have a better solution to their problems because they are relying on collagen for their skins supple appearance.
Things to GUARANTEED to improve facial wrinkles include taking supplements like Vitamin C and Zinc, The sun is your enemy in this situation; because it impedes collagen growth and also influences those blotchy and unacttractive age spots. Deep laser treatments such as the TotalFX and Fraxel Re:Pair will help almost diminish wrinkles, different chemical peels will help too. Too gradually redue the wrinkles before they form, a good skin regime should become routine.
A great product voted best for reducing fine lines is Olay Regenerist so daily application (and consistence) should help aswell. Wearing sunscreen daily will also contribute to less wrinkles.
this is true. as we age we lose collagen. i've read alot about taking the supplements and some say it helps, some say it's a waste of time and money. however, one thing that is proven to work is laser treatments to the skin. laser regeneration is one that i've had and am very pleased! it's inexpensive, almost no discomfort (the laser gets a little hot at times) and there's no down time. i'm in my 40's and have had 3 treatments. i saw results in the lines around my eyes and mouth after the first treatment. the laser stimulates the skin to produce more collagen so you see results increase as times goes by. be sure and get a licensed professional to do the procedure!
