coco butter helps get rid of their appearance (if used for a long long long time), but stretch marks are pretty much permanent. Sorry, you're stuck with them babe! I sympathize with you cause I have them too.
As Krisy said, they are pretty much permanent. The reason they look the way they do is because you lost a lot of weight all at once - they also appear if you gain too much weight real quickly as well. Stretch marks are scar tissue. And as I'm sure you're aware, scars are pretty much there for life. The only real thing you can do, as recommended, is use cocoa butter and vitamin E to reduce the appearance. There are products out there that CLAIM they can get rid of them, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Before you start spending loads of money on different creams or surgeries, there are a few simple techniques you can try on your own at home. If your stretch marks are not too severe or aged, you can try taking a body brush and scrubbing the affected areas while in the shower. This loosens up the skin, and removes the dead skin on top, leaving fresh, more normal colored skin underneath.
The cheapest stretch mark treatment available is creams made especially for stretch marks. The most effective creams contain ingredients such as cocoa butter, lanolin and wheat germ oil. These creams actually heal and rebuild the damaged skin. While they may not be able to completely eliminate stretch marks, they may at least make the stretch marks fade to a barely visible scar.
