what can I do about my REALLY dark circles?

Question by Bekki. :D: what can I do about my REALLY dark circles?
I have really dark circles under my eyes. Depending on how much sleep I get, they can range from gray-ish to deep black. Once, during midterms, a guidance counselor called me in to see if I'd been being abused at home! What can I do? I can't spend over $ 10 on cream.
Guys, come on. You don't think I've tried concealer? It really doesn't help, just turns the area blue or brown.

  3. Drink lots of water! I've heard that fixes it...... like if you think you drink enough then drink double that amount. Try concealer or foundation to lighten it then go over it with a translucent powder. Good luck!

  4. use gelatin, thts wht i use
its very inexpensive and can get the job done
it might sound weird but gelatin works really well on dark circles!!
u just get the unflavored gelatin(powdered kind only from your local grocery store)
and take about a tablespoon and put it in a bowl
then put in a teaspoon of warm water(or add water until the mixture gets really sticky and gooey)
then, put it directly under your eyes and wait for thirty mins
    or until it completely dries.
then wash it off and use a cleanser
do this for about a week and then once a week for maintenance
    i hope this helps you
cuz it really helped me out!!

  5. grind almonds to their finest powdered form. add them to milk powder(powdered milk, not skimmed milk powder) and some rose water(u can use normal tap water too but make sure its not the salty water.), make a good slightly thick mixture and apply it before u go to bed. wash it off when u wake up. u can do it during the day too but at might while u are asleep the nerves are relaxed therefore its best to used this mixture before going to bed! i dont think u need to spend money cuz these things are already in the kitchen. or if u have to buy it aint gonna cost u more than $ 2
    10000000% garunteed!

if u dont like the idea use concilers that match ur skin tone!

  6. Remedies For Dark Circles

    * An instant dark circles remedy is to use the correct concealer. The shade should be lighter than your foundation. If circles are very dark, choose 2 shades lighter. Great choices can be Revlon New Complexion Concealer, Estee Lauder Smoothing Skin Concealer, Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, or Neutrogena Smoothing Skin Stick.

    * Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less visible.

    * One should go for laser treatment only if the case is chronic. Lasers can increase production of collagen thereby thickening skin to make dark circles less visible.

    * Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:
    1. Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.
    2. Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.
    3. Get enough sleep.
    4. Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes for 15 minutes regularly.
    5. Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.
    6. Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever, avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.

    * Hylexin is the first dark circles eye cream developed for serious dark circles. Featured in several magazines such as Marie Claire, FashionWeekDaily, The Wall Street Journal , Star and Luck.

    * One of the greatest remedies for dark circles is Arbonne's NutriMinC® RE9 Repair. It’s a corrective puffiness and dark circles eye cream that does additional benefits – firming, moisturizing and repairing the delicate tissue around the eye.
