When should i start taking collagen supplement?

Hi, I'm 22 female, I'm thinking about taking collagen supplement. Am i too young to take it? What is the proper age to take collagen?

I COULD be wrong, but I read something about collagen on Wikipedia.org and it said that women start to have a collagen decrease in their bodies at age 24....

So, I would start taking a collagen supplement at age 24.
