  1. i have the same problem and ive found that it helps if i sleep with an extra pillow, as the liquid kind of moves downwards with help of gravity, and fills in the circles :)

and also getting a special concealer for under the eyes will help, try something from benefit.

  2. I'm sure you'll find a solution here -

    Remedies For Dark Circles

    * An instant dark circles remedy is to use the correct concealer. The shade should be lighter than your foundation. If circles are very dark, choose 2 shades lighter. Great choices can be Revlon New Complexion Concealer, Estee Lauder Smoothing Skin Concealer, Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, or Neutrogena Smoothing Skin Stick.

    * Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less visible.

    * One should go for laser treatment only if the case is chronic. Lasers can increase production of collagen thereby thickening skin to make dark circles less visible.

    * Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:
    1. Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.
    2. Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.
    3. Get enough sleep.
    4. Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes for 15 minutes regularly.
    5. Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.
    6. Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever, avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.

    * Hylexin is the first dark circles eye cream developed for serious dark circles. Featured in several magazines such as Marie Claire, FashionWeekDaily, The Wall Street Journal , Star and Luck.

    * One of the greatest remedies for dark circles is Arbonne's NutriMinC® RE9 Repair. It’s a corrective puffiness and dark circles eye cream that does additional benefits – firming, moisturizing and repairing the delicate tissue around the eye.

    It could also be hereditary.

  4. Maybe you should go to bed earlier for a while. The dark circles are lack of sleep. Also when you go to bed, get some cucumber thinly sliced and place them on your closed eyes. Also ask your Pharmacist to recommend something for you.

Adapted from The Herbal Home Spa, by Greta Breedlove (Storey Books, 1998).

Nobody looks good with puffy bags or dark circles under their eyes, but how to get rid of them?

SIMPLE SOLUTION: Well, this is the easiest remedy I’ve ever run across, and it really works!

I was so surprised by the single kitchen-cupboard ingredient that this How-To calls for--it's not a cucumber, and you’re sure to have one on hand. Find out the secret here:

Raw potato slices will help tighten baggy, puffy eyes. All you need is a potato and a knife or slicer!

    To Make:

    1. Slice 1/4 potato to fit over your eyes.

    2. Cut 2 slices or, if you prefer, 5 to 10 very thin slices, several for each eye. Either method works.

    To Use:

    1. Spritz eye area with water.

    2. Lying down, place the potato slices on your eyelids and leave in place for at least 10 minutes for best results.

Then prick a vitamin K capsule and apply the oil to under the eye. Leave it on all night.

I also recently read that the skin under the eyes turns dark when there isn't enough moisture. So make sure you put moisturizer under your eyes also. Your eyes are also one of the first spots of your body to age so take good care of them.

    Hope this helps!!!

  7. Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care.Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in luke warm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. 9. Most of it is genetic. I have them to. Just get lots of sleep, and try not be stressed to much. I also have heard that when you cry a lot under eye circles appear darker. Not sure if it's true tho. Also drink plenty of water. Getting a bit of color in your face as well as putting cold spoons under eyes may help. Get ShiSeido Benefiance Revitalizing Cream. I got mine from Macy's and just a tiny dab of it does wonders on dark circles. I have pretty bad ones so this is all from experience.

    Hope this helps. :)
