Vegetarian Collagen?

Question by Lily: Vegetarian Collagen?
I am beginning to get a little concerned about aging. I hear a lot about Collagen supplements being good for reparing the skin and removing fine lines but they all seem to be made from meat.
Can anyone advise me on what supplements to take and changes to me diet I should make to try and slow down the aging process and improve my skin and boost my own collagen?
I have been vegetarian for 20 years.

Try using Arbonne products. Most of their sking care products are vegan friendly, but their supplements are NOT.
If you need help finding them in your area, let me know.

  1. Personally, I would recommend, eating 5 fruits a day and exercising. Drinking 8 glasses of water. Yes, I know you have heard it before. But really, you want your skin pump, right, well the more natural water it has, the less it will sink and sage. So make your skin have lot of water and have good blood circulation.

    Eat more raw foods.

And do weights that keeps your body tone and look younger.

you can try kiss my face and Jason have vegan products.

  2. I am 54. The only lines that I have on my face now - are the scars that I got from being in a fire/explosion when I was 17 - the windshield that I went through at about 36 - and even those are not bad any more at all - most don't even realize that they are even scars.

Years of having to be on steroids because of not being used to what I call 'civilization' - meaning that because I lived in small hick towns all my life - first time that I was exposed to the 'big city' (east coast) - my lungs shut down and I almost died from the pollution. Such was when they had to put me on steroids to keep my lungs working because of the damage done from the exposure..... Only within the last few years have I been able to get off of them. It has only been within the last 6 months that I actually have dropped most of the weight that I gained from having to take them - by accident - but hey - I will take going back to my normal size. That 'double chin' that always seemed to be there - long gone.

My late husband was 7 years younger than I am (he passed away). The man that I was seeing around the same time that I was deciding upon who I was going to go out with till I decided on my late husband - was 20 years younger than myself (just talked to him not too long ago - and he is now in politics in of all places - OKLAHOMA - where he is from).

It isn't the fine lines that are going to keep you from looking your best. It is what is within that counts the most.

Many depend upon what they see as outer beauty and their insides are as ugly as ugly gets.

Just be the best you that you can be. Eat a healthy diet. Exercise and stay fit.

Even the white hair that I have mixed in with my blonde is considered by many cultures to be a 'sign of wisdom' - why should I dye and cover up all that wisdom that is so easy to see is my view.

If your going to worry about something - worry about something that matters - and it isn't fine lines. :)
